| Mind | A dedicated instance of the Akasha engine, with its own data and configuration. |
| Akasha | The engine that implements storage, memory, retrieval, and learning capabilities. |
| Helm | The conversational operator for Minds; currently labeled Operator in the UI. |
| Organization | The account boundary that owns and manages instances. |
| Namespace | A scope used to separate data and restrict what a caller may access. |
| Keyspace | A named collection of records inside the engine. |
| Capability | A signed credential describing what a caller is allowed to do. |
| Artifact | A structured response in chat, such as a choice, form, progress view, or metric. |
| Knowledge graph | Facts and entities connected by named relationships. |
| Embedding | A numeric representation used to compare meaning or other learned features. |
| Learning isolation | A review boundary between incoming information and accepted knowledge. |
| Provenance | The source and transformation history behind a piece of knowledge. |
| Harness | The application or agent runner that hosts an assistant and its tools. |
| MCP | Model Context Protocol, a way for assistants to discover and invoke tools. |
| Firecracker VM | The lightweight virtual machine specified for each Free and Pro Mind. |
